I’m sorry that these have been so sporadic. I have been able to go back to work, I’ve been in attendance daily for almost two weeks now and loving it, but my energy is still low. I overdid things on Saturday and ended up sleeping all day on Sunday. My employer has been [...]

I had a very eventful week culminating in the busiest day I’ve ever had yesterday. It was my daughter’s birthday, my cousins renewed their wedding vows, and my sister was celebrating the approval of her business license. It was lovely!

First, we got up early and went to the cowboy church where my cousins renewed their vows. If you’ve never been to cowboy church, I think you should give it a try at least once. It was one of the most relaxed and informal atmospheres I’ve ever experienced in a religious institution. After the services and the ceremony, there was a potluck lunch.

Then, we came home and prepared for my daughter’s birthday party. The family started trickling in about 30 minutes later. All in all, the party lasted about 5 hours, and we ate an entire sheet cake PLUS 1 gallon of chocolate ice cream with crushed Thin Mints and hot fudge sauce on top. We combined her birthday with my sister’s celebration and we partied til we couldn’t stand it no more! LOL

It was a marvelous day, but exhausting. I had me a little 3 hour nap after everyone went home. LOL

Tarot Guidance for the week of February 8-14

Four of Cups

Four of Cups

Being too inwardly focused is not a good idea this week. Pay attention to what’s going on around you or you could miss something important. For example, a number of years ago I was going through a really tough time. I felt like I was stuck in an unhappy and abusive marriage and couldn’t see my way out. People were offering me advice and help, but I was too absorbed in my misery to realize it. Once I fought my way out of that fog and into the light, I was able to see the hands extended to me in friendship.

A certain amount of introspection is healthy, but we must also allow the outside world in. If we don’t, we could miss the good stuff.
